Introduction

FN-Tools ("this site") respects your privacy and handles personal information with care.

This Privacy Policy explains what information this site collects, how it is used, and how it is retained.

In this policy, "Personal and User Information" (referred to below as "User Information") means personal information as well as Discord user IDs, Epic Games account IDs, cookies, access logs, device information, and other information obtained or stored through use of the service.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Epic Games, Inc.

This site is also not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Discord Inc.

Information We Collect

This site may collect or store the following User Information depending on the features you use.

  • IP address, browser information, device information, access date and time, and access logs
  • Cookie data, including session, locale, theme, OAuth state, and analytics or advertising cookies
  • Discord account information obtained through OAuth2, such as user ID, username, display name, avatar identifier, and OAuth tokens during the session period
  • Epic Games account IDs and Epic DisplayNames stored as FN-Tools Link connection data
  • Membership and billing identifiers, such as Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, price ID, plan type, status, and access period
  • Replay analysis inputs and outputs, score results, scoring rules, match history, ranking titles, and public ranking settings
  • Browser-local data such as replay analysis history and user preferences stored in IndexedDB, local storage, or cookies

How Data Is Collected

This site collects information in the following ways.

  • Automatically through cookies, access logs, analytics tools, and advertising tools
  • When users sign in, upload files, publish rankings, configure settings, or use site features
  • Through OAuth authentication with Discord, Epic Games, and other external services, only when authorized by the user
  • Through Stripe when users start, manage, cancel, or resume paid membership

Purpose of Use

Collected information is used for the following purposes.

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving FN-Tools features
  • Authenticating users and managing sessions, accounts, memberships, and plans
  • Processing replay analysis, score tallying, web publishing, exports, and Discord integrations
  • Managing Epic Games account links and Discord role assignment features
  • Handling Stripe subscriptions, billing status, invoice display, cancellation, and account deletion safety checks
  • Preventing unauthorized use, abuse, fraud, and technical issues
  • Access analysis, advertising delivery, service operations, and responding to inquiries

Third-Party Disclosure and External Services

This site may send or share information with third-party services in the following cases.

  • Google Analytics and Google AdSense for access analysis and advertising
  • Discord for OAuth2 sign-in, bot features, channel selection, image export, and role assignment
  • Epic Games for OAuth verification, Epic account linking, and Epic DisplayName refresh checks
  • Stripe for Checkout, subscriptions, cancellations, customer management, invoices, receipts, and billing-related processing
  • When required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or service integrity

These third-party services handle data according to their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Handling

Replay file uploads

When you upload a replay file for analysis, the file is temporarily stored on the server only for processing.

Uploaded replay files are automatically deleted after analysis.

Web-published rankings

When you publish score results on the web, ranking data is stored on the server so that the public ranking page can be displayed.

Stored ranking data includes the title, mode, theme, scoring rule, score results, match history, creator user ID, publish status, creation date, and expiry date.

Published rankings are retained until the selected expiry date or until deleted. Rankings hidden because a Free plan limit is exceeded may be deleted after the grace period described in the service.

Discord sign-in and session management

When you sign in with Discord OAuth2, this site stores the Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar identifier, OAuth access token, refresh token, token expiry, account creation date, and last sign-in date as needed to provide account features.

Discord OAuth tokens are managed with the same lifetime as the session. If Discord OAuth expires, the session also expires. When you sign out or the session expires, the Discord OAuth tokens are also deleted.

This site issues a session cookie for sign-in. The session cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and expires after the configured session period unless refreshed by continued use or cleared by sign-out.

Membership and Stripe billing

When you use paid membership features, billing is handled by Stripe. This site stores membership status, plan type, access period, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, Stripe price ID, cancellation date, and related timestamps.

This site does not store card numbers or full payment method details. Stripe may provide invoices, receipts, and payment history. If payment history is shown in FN-Tools, this site does not separately store or manage that payment history.

Epic Games account linking

When you link an Epic Games account, this site stores the Discord ID, Epic Games account ID, and Epic DisplayName needed to match Discord users with Epic Games accounts.

Epic Games OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and other token information are not stored.

You can delete FN-Tools Link connection data by running the `/unlink` command from the FN-Tools BOT.

Use of Access Analytics Tools

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) for access analysis.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyze user behavior. Collected data is processed according to Google's policies.

You can opt out of data collection by disabling cookies or using browser settings and tools provided by Google.

About Advertising

This site may display advertisements using Google AdSense.

Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on user interests and to measure ad performance.

You can disable personalized ads through Google's ad settings and related browser settings.

Data Retention

Collected data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and is then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

Session data expires according to the configured session period and may be deleted when you sign out or when the session is invalidated.

Temporary OAuth state values are retained only for the time needed to complete the related process.

Discord OAuth tokens are managed with the same lifetime as the session and are deleted when you sign out or when the session expires.

Epic Games OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, and other token information are not stored.

Web-published rankings are retained until expiry or deletion. Some hidden rankings may be deleted after a grace period depending on plan limits.

The retention period for data collected through Google Analytics is governed by the Google Analytics settings used by this site and Google's policies.

When an FN-Tools account is deleted, the user record, sessions, web-published rankings, and membership information retained by FN-Tools are deleted. If an active paid Stripe subscription exists, this site checks its status and cancels it when necessary before completing account deletion. If the status check or cancellation fails, account deletion is not completed for safety, and the user is advised to wait and try again or contact us.

Browser Storage (IndexedDB)

Replay Analyzer history, saved replay names, scoring rules, and user preferences are stored on the user's device using IndexedDB and are not stored on FN-Tools servers.

This data generally remains on the device unless the user deletes it, such as by clearing the browser's storage.

However, the data may be deleted if the device runs low on available storage or if the browser automatically manages its storage space.

Use by Children Under 13

This site is not primarily directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may use this site only with the consent and supervision of their legal representative.

This site does not independently collect or verify users' ages or dates of birth. Users of Discord or Epic Games integration features must also comply with the age requirements, legal representative consent requirements, and other conditions established by those services.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be changed without prior notice. Any changes will take effect upon publication on this site.
