Epic Games OAuth2
Epic Games OAuth2 links your Epic Games account to your Discord account. It’s used by the Discord role assignment (Pro) feature in Replay Analyzer to match players’ Epic accounts with their Discord accounts.
How it works
- In Discord, find the Epic Games account linking message sent by FN-Tools#8196.
- Click the Link Epic Games account button in that message.
- Open the link that appears. It will take you to the FN-Tools site.
- FN-Tools redirects you to
epicgames.com/id/authorize. - Complete the Epic Games sign-in and authorization.
- You’re returned to fn.yuyutti.com — the link is complete.
FN-Tools never receives your password. Authentication is completed entirely on Epic Games’ servers.
Requested permissions
Epic Games shows this permission during authorization: See your account ID, display name, language, and linked account display names.
FN-Tools uses the Epic account ID returned after authorization and the display name included in the access token for FN-Tools Link connection data.
Stored DisplayNames may be refreshed periodically through Epic Games’ account information API. FN-Tools does not store Epic Games OAuth access tokens or refresh tokens.
What is stored
| Field | Details |
|---|---|
| Epic account ID | Your Epic Games account’s unique ID (UUID format) |
| DisplayName | Your Epic Games account DisplayName |
| Linked Discord user ID | The Discord account ID this Epic account is linked to |
Not stored: language, linked account display names, email address, purchase history, friend list, V-Bucks balance, or play history.
Link rules
- Each Discord account can be linked to one Epic account at a time. Linking a new Epic account automatically removes the previous link.
- Each Epic account can only be linked to one Discord account at a time. If you link it to a different Discord account, the previous link is automatically removed.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect FN-Tools at any time from Epic Games’ Account → Linked accounts → Your linked accounts.
To delete the FN-Tools Link connection data stored on the FN-Tools side, run the /unlink command in a Discord server where the FN-Tools BOT is present.
