6. Voice-channel role grants
Configure this feature on the Voice roles screen. When enabled, it grants roles while a member is connected to a voice channel marked as a VC role target in Category.
Target voice channels
Only voice channels whose names do not contain {teamname} can be targets. Use fixed names such as VC, Waiting Room, or Broadcast.
The configuration is matched by voice-channel name. If multiple panels in the same server use the same target name, the first matching panel may be selected. Use a different fixed target name for each panel.
Roles granted without conditions
These roles are granted to everyone who joins a target voice channel. When multiple roles are selected, all of them are granted.
You can select up to five unconditional roles. Keeping simultaneous grants small reduces Discord API and BOT load.
Example uses:
- In Voice Channel
- On Stream
- In Match
Conditional voice roles
Conditional rules select a role based on a role the member already has. One rule contains:
If the member has the required role → grant the selected roleEach rule supports exactly one required role and one granted role.
You can add up to 30 conditional rules.
Priority
When multiple conditions match, only the highest-priority conditional role is granted. Rules near the top have higher priority.
- Drag rules to reorder them on desktop.
- Use the up and down buttons on mobile.
Unconditional roles are separate and are all granted alongside the one matching conditional role.
Re-evaluation while connected
The BOT grants roles when a member joins a target voice channel. If the member’s roles change while connected, the BOT re-evaluates the rules, removes no-longer-needed conditional roles, and grants the newly selected role.
Leaving the voice channel
The BOT removes roles granted by this feature when the member leaves the target voice channel. Removal on leave is fixed behavior and cannot be disabled in the dashboard.
If a role remains after leaving, rejoin and leave the target voice channel once, or remove the role manually on Discord.
