Creating scoring rules

Before calculating scores, open Create rule and complete the five-step wizard. Saved rules are stored in IndexedDB in your browser and can be reused, edited, or deleted from the rule selector.

1. Rule name

Use a name that identifies the event, round, or purpose.

Example: Trio Cup Round 1

2. Placement points

Configure points awarded for each placement.

Build with the UI

  • Single rank — define one rank, such as 1st = 25pt
  • Rank range — assign one value to a range, such as 2nd–5th = 15pt
  • Decrement rule — define a starting value and the decrease per rank

The same rank cannot appear in more than one entry.

Comma-separated values

Enter points in order from first place. Up to 100 values are supported.

25,20,16,13,11,9,7,5,3,1

Ranks without a configured value receive 0 points.

3. Elimination points

Enable this step when eliminations should affect the score.

  • Points per elimination — points awarded for one elimination
  • Elimination cap — maximum eliminations counted for points in one result; leave empty for unlimited

The result table still shows the actual elimination count when a cap is used. Only elimination points added to the total are capped.

4. Aggregation and Register Now

Aggregation between fixed parties

Results with exactly the same Epic Games account roster are combined. A one-player difference creates a separate result.

Use this for events where the same duo, trio, or squad plays every match.

Team-shared eliminations (individual total)

Each player receives the party placement and team elimination count, then results are combined by player. This supports formats where party members change between matches.

Individual aggregation

Party placement is shared, but each player uses only their own eliminations. Results are combined by player.

When Register Now is enabled, each match is calculated with the selected aggregation mode and then regrouped by registered entry team. See Register Now integration.

5. Review

Review the rule name, placement points, elimination points, aggregation, and Register Now settings before saving.

When Register Now is enabled, the review shows the selected server and entry channel instead of the internal panel ID.

Match-specific rules

Individual matches can use different placement and elimination point settings. Only rules whose Aggregation and Register Now settings match the global rule can be selected for an individual match.

The aggregation method, Register Now enablement, target panel, and Aggregate team members in the same match setting must all match. Rules with different settings remain visible in the selector, but are disabled and cannot be selected.

An unavailable rule shows either Unavailable: different aggregation method or Unavailable: different Register Now settings after its name. Match-specific rules can change placement and elimination points only.

Published Web rankings retain both the global rule and any match-specific rules in the rule display.

Tiebreak calculation

After rule points are calculated, results are sorted by:

  1. Total points
  2. Victory Royales
  3. Average eliminations
  4. Average placement
  5. Total survival time
  6. Party number from the first match

The same ranking process is applied again after point adjustments or team merges.

See Editing score results for point adjustments, disqualification, and team merging.
